The Stolen Prince of Cloudburst

Esther is a middle child, sandwiched between two talented sisters. But she doesn't mind being ordinary - she's just excited to be reunited with her best friends when term begins. On arriving at boarding school, she discovers changes afoot - her friends have disappeared and a new teacher has arrived, wildly rumoured to be an ogre... Then life becomes dangerous. The mountains surrounding the school are crowded with evil Shadow Mages and everyone who might be able to help is strangely absent. So it's left to middle-child Esther to act - but is she simply too ordinary to be extraordinary?
